Discover & connect
We envision shorts, local and student voices, and intimate workshops or salons: space to discover emerging talent and talk about the craft.

We’re shaping a festival that leaves room for the film, the conversation, and the valley itself. The official lineup, dates, venues, and screening times will be announced once confirmed.

Features and documentaries can anchor the day, with filmmaker conversations after selected screenings and breathing room between sessions.
Outdoor cinema is planned around dusk. The Perfect Pairing brings wine, culinary talent, and film together through tastings, winemaker salons, and shared tables.
Programming direction only · No dates, times, or events are confirmed yet.
Our aim is to group films by theme and tone, build coherent shorts programs, and connect selected stories with the valley’s chefs and winemakers—not simply fill every available slot.
We plan to allow for introductions, selected Q&As, and a relaxed transition afterward. Final session lengths will reflect each film and its accompanying event.
Travel between the five towns matters. We aim to leave practical gaps between locations, with time to arrive, settle in, and enjoy local restaurants and gathering spaces.
Screenings will be matched to suitable spaces, from Solvang Outdoor Theater to wineries, barrel cellars, and intimate local salons. Outdoor plans depend on light, weather, and venue readiness.
When the program is ready, this page will bring together confirmed film selections, screening times, locations, Q&A details, and pass or ticket information. Until then, the outline above is our intended approach—not a bookable schedule.
